LUANA CARLA SALVI

I was always been curious about the existing relations between the organisms and their interactions with the environment. Likewise, I am fascinate by the set of relationships that promote this balance, because we know that the environment affect on the estruture of the organisms and their behavior. I am researching about possible morphological changes in several species of Colombian Odonata along of altitudinal gradient, to see if there are patterns of change according to altitude. For my research, there is collaboration between Eduardo Périco y Marina Dalzochio (Laboratório de Ecologia e Evolução of Universidade do Vale do Taquari, Brazil), Emilio Realpe (Laboratorio de Zoología y Ecología Acuática de la Universidad de Los Andes, Colombia) y Fredy Palacino (GINOCO, Colombia). Image: Fredy Palacino Rodriguez, Carlos Eduardo Sarmiento Monroy, Enrique Gonzalez Soriano (2015). Morphological variability and evaluation of taxonomic characters in the genus Erythemis Hagen, 1861 (Odonata: Libellulidae: Sympetrinae). Insecta Mundi, 0468: 1-68.
